I earned a B.A. in Psychology from St. Joseph's College, Patchogue, New York, and a Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University, Garden City, New York.
Postgraduate training includes training in family systems, grief and loss, alcoholism and addictive studies, relationship education and communication for individuals, couples, and corporate settings.
In my work as an adjunct instructor for the Social Science Department at Suffolk Community College, New York, I have had a special interest in teaching Marriage and the Family.
It has been a unique experience to be part of The Coalition for Marriage, Family and Couples Education and attend all their conferences for the past 14 years. I have had the opportunity of training with many of the top people in the field of relationship education and therapy. It is exciting to see individuals and couples apply the skills they learn in our sessions and build happier and healthier relationships.
